Posting

Post to your social accounts

Give your AI app a photo or video and say where it should go. It writes a caption for each account, AI Smith checks the file fits each platform, and you see the finished post before it goes out.

Say this

Post this photo to Instagram and Facebook. Keep Instagram short and casual, and give Facebook the full details.
Schedule this video for TikTok and YouTube on Friday at 8pm.
Post this to all my accounts and add our WhatsApp link as the first comment.
Did yesterday's post go out? Send me the links.
Take down the Raya promo post.

What happens

  1. You share the photo or video in the chat. For big files, your AI app gives you an upload link instead.
  2. Your AI app writes a caption for each account. Ask for changes as often as you like.
  3. AI Smith checks the file against each platform's rules (size, shape, length) and shows the exact post for every account.
  4. You say yes. If anything changes after that, it has to show you again.
  5. It's posted, or scheduled. You get a link to the post on each platform.

Posting is public straight away

You can take a post down afterwards, but people may already have seen it.

What you can ask for

Caption per account
Every account gets its own caption.
A set time
Schedule any time at least 5 minutes ahead.
First comment
A comment posted under your post, such as a link or hashtags.
Alt text
A description of a photo for people using screen readers.
Many accounts
Up to 8 accounts per post. For more, your AI app splits it into batches and shows you each one.

Photos and videos

WhatFormatsHow to send it
PhotoPNG, JPEG, WEBP up to 5 MBAttach it in the chat.
Large photoPNG, JPEG, WEBP up to 32 MBAttach it, or use the upload link your AI app gives you.
VideoMP4 or MOV up to 1 GBAttach it if your AI app allows. Otherwise use the upload link: it works once, for 60 minutes, with no sign-in.

Uploaded files are kept for 7 days, then deleted.

If a file doesn't fit a platform

AI Smith says what's wrong for each account. Your AI app will usually fix the file itself, for example by resizing or trimming it. If it can't, it leaves that account out and tells you which one.

  • A tall 9:16 photo can't go in an Instagram feed post. It needs resizing to 1080 × 1350.
  • A tall 9:16 video on Instagram is fine. It posts as a Reel.

After posting

Check a post
Ask whether it went out, and for the links.
Find an old post
Describe it or paste its link. Only posts made through AI Smith are listed.
Take it down
Ask your AI app to take a post down. Instagram and TikTok don't allow this: delete those posts in the app.
Try again
If a post failed on some accounts, ask your AI app to retry it.
